Thanks for approving my membership. Keen as punch to pick up my teenage dream car, JA 82 Starion tomorrow. Silver in colour, needs a paint job, needs an engine rebuild, needs a fuel tank, needs interior re-trim.....it needs ALOT.

Don't think I did this when I first joined up so here goes

Name: Paul, but only my wife calls me that, and usually when I am in trouble, known as DK
Age: 35
Location: Eastwood, Sydney, NSW
Car: 82 JA that has been in the family since 87
Mods: Had MOTEC and a few bosch goodies, few random porsche motorsport parts from workshop spares, currently tearing down to build up into a motorsports specific toy
Other: Flymo electric lawnmower, Recaro pram which I do drift around the supermarket aisles much to my wifes disgust. Have been lucky enough in my lifetime to race cars from pre-war monopostos up to BTCC euro screamers. Looking forward to getting this JA out on the track in the hopefully not too distant future.
"DK" currently swearing at an 82 JA,
previously struggled with 65 Fairlady, 71 MG Midget historic Race car, 71 MGBGT, 32 Ford Hotrod,
Spends most days trying to keep 16,500 hp from killing him.

Welcome to the community. You might get a little bit of work here and there from members. We love to get people who are in the community doing the work.

Not Danish but close.... I am what is commonly called a "Swamp German" (Dutch). I have the Flymo because I secretly always wanted a hovercraft all of my own and this is as close as I will get, I am happy to help people with other Starions around Sydney, I do not have an accessible workshop here in Sydney but have my tools, beer, a collection of hammers and a fairly high level of mechanical mediocrity... My particular engineering background is not much use for starions unless you want to transplant a 50 tonne diesel engine into one ( makes parking difficult )
