How old does it need to be? I barely drive mine, and this would work for me.

I thought it had to be 30 years old to qualify...

A twin cam set up in a 30 year old Starion would not be easily approved in NSW for Club/Historic plates.
It would need to be SOHC to get the OK and very close to original from what I hear.
There would be more than $400bux saving around our neck of the woods!
Imports.

12 months rego on a 4 cylinder is close to 700 up here and club rego is 180 plus whatever your club annual dues are. Restrictions in qld are that you can only drive it within a 15km radius of your house for testing purposes and to and from a workshop for repairs, and if course on approved club runs. Has to be at least 30 years old. You can't drive it to work etc. But you can have a modified car on club reg if you're in the right club. I have my 10 second Gemini Coupe on club reg.
Parts for sale (+freight), fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), all mechanical work from stock to performance builds.
