I spent an hour or so in photoshop last night and came up with this as the plan (animated .gif with 2 frames, wait for it to load :) ):

Basically, I'm going to replace the front lip with the standard item, put a wrap around spoiler on the back, restore the original decals and re-badge the bastard, and finally paint the rear pillars black again.

What do you think?

i don't mind that dam over the original... well, from that angle anyway. add some skirts and i think you wont need the stickers on the side.

I like the skirt! How about this one:

Those wheels are 4 stud pattern too, not sure what type they are and if the offset would suit a Staz but they are currently on an RA28 Celica.

hehe, they look more like factory 18s! With a bit of bling in them as well. You can get them from any leading photoshopper ;)

Rainey, they're the mk2 Supra rims... the supra that is similar to the starion shape. I'm not sure if they're a direct fit? i know earlier (70s) celicas are, but i'm not sure about the 80s ones. They look pretty similar to the widey rims, but a fair bit smaller. You really like the JA airdam better? Might as well go for a JA hood as well then :D As for the skirts, completely drawn... wouldn't mind a pair like that myself though.

Hmm, good point, I'm starting to rethink the JA front bar now. I'll need something I can put the intercooler behind but either way the stupid looking cracked one that is on there now must die a painful death in the workshop. :D

I do like the Supra wheels though, they'd be a go'er if I could find myself a good set. The skirt does look pretty nice and matches the front lip style, without the skirts the lip makes the car look like a bit of a snow plow.

Here's some recent pictures of my Starion. Cleaned her up a bit, still got plenty of work to do:

If mods think it is more appropriate to move this thread to 'Show and Go' then I'm happy with that, I hope I'm not boring you guys with my Starion appreciation session. :pimp

Another concept... This time with the JD front bar, and I'm having a stickermaker look at reproducing the pin stripes on the side for about $200 this week.
