I'm pretty sure the performance portfolio book says the late esi-r does 15.5, earlier ones were 16's. God knows what a gsr-vr does stock..

Might have to see if I can find a Jap magazine article from 1988 :D

Failing that, I might fit the stock wheels on the rear and turn the boost back down and have another go :D

3" mandrel system, gt3076r on 1 bar, sigma turbo manifold with adapter & 32mm gate, extra injector with jaycar controller.

14.245 at 96.15 mph
82 JA with stock single cam 160K on the clock.TD05-16G (evo3) turbo, MSD 6al2 programmable ignition, stock intercooler from widebody starion with 2.5" custom piping, galant single cam MPI manifold, gas research straight lpg blow through system with b2 convertor, 3 " full exhaust and lsd from a JB. Running 15 psi...

A new pb for me and the first time running slicks M&H 23/7.5/15 (supplied by VPW)
LOADS of grip and no tire hop!

Best 60' time was a 1.768 with tyres at 11psi but car was moving around too much at mid track so got off it.
