I dont think your car had a stock cam. The cam acts like a brick wall when you get to a certain point. There was a thread on here somewhere about it.

Extremely smooth delivery. Well sorta, kinda goes BAM, wheelspin, limiter..

After converting from SOHC to DOHC these are the advantages:


-Improved throttle response
-faster Boost
-better economy
-Heaps and heaps more power
-much smoother engine
-availability of cheap 2nd hand performance parts (evo's)

Basically I run an Evo 3 engine with evo 6 turbo & evo 4 intake and controlled by a custom flash evo 8 ecu.
All parts that should be easy to get in the UK.. And plenty of guys that can map it for you there as it's basically become an evo when it comes to tuning.
